GSL Education are seeking experienced Technicians to join schools in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who are passionate about ensuring smooth delivery of lessons, maintaining equipment, and supporting both staff and students in practical subjects.
As a Technician, you will:
- Prepare and maintain equipment and resources for practical lessons across various subjects.
- Support teachers in setting up experiments, demonstrations, or classroom activities.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed in all practical sessions.
- Assist with the organisation, storage, and maintenance of specialist materials.
- Provide general technical support to staff and pupils to enhance learning experiences.
Requirements for the Technician role:
- Previous experience in a school or educational environment preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant practical procedures and safety standards.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting teaching and learning.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
