Job Title: Behaviour Support Officer
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £89 – £125 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a proactive Behaviour Support Officer to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils develop positive behaviours, resilience, and engagement in learning.
As a Behaviour Support Officer, you will:
- Support pupils in managing challenging behaviour and developing social and emotional skills.
- Work one-to-one or in small groups to provide targeted interventions and guidance.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Promote a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to inform future support and interventions.
Requirements for the Behaviour Support Officer role:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour management.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team under guidance.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
