Pay Rate: £89 – £125 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hull. This role is perfect for someone passionate about helping pupils overcome challenges, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant (TA), you will:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN, SEMH, or other additional needs.
- Assist class teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
- Promote a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Help monitor progress and provide feedback to inform teaching strategies.
Requirements for the Specialist Teaching Assistant role:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural challenges.
- Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach to supporting pupils.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team under teacher guidance.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
