Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher with a passion for inspiring curiosity and critical thinking among students?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a supportive school in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed educator to deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies, helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver well-structured and stimulating lessons in Humanities subjects.
- Encourage students to think critically, analyse information, and form independent opinions.
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Requirements for the Humanities Teacher role:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects across Key Stages.
- Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- A creative, reflective, and student-focused approach to teaching.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
