GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive school in Hull. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is eager to engage students through expressive and interactive learning while promoting creativity and collaboration in the classroom.
As a Drama Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage students to explore performance, character development, and stagecraft.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that inspires confidence and teamwork.
- Prepare students for practical and written assessments, ensuring academic progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school events, productions, and performances.
Requirements for the Drama Teacher role:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience teaching Drama at Key Stages.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for theatre, creativity, and student development.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
