Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £99 – £125 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and inclusive school in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced school staff looking to gain classroom experience and make a positive impact on students’ education.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task with set work.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies and procedures.
- Support students’ learning by providing encouragement and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Report any issues or progress to senior staff or class teachers as required.
Requirements for the Cover Supervisor role:
- A degree or relevant experience working with young people in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- The ability to stay calm, confident, and professional in a classroom environment.
- A genuine interest in supporting student development and wellbeing.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
