Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £89 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: November or January
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in Hull. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers or education professionals eager to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development.
As a Graduate TA, you will:
- Work closely with class teachers to support the learning and progress of pupils across various subjects.
- Provide one-to-one or small group intervention for pupils who require additional academic or emotional support.
- Assist with classroom activities, lesson preparation, and resource organisation.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages confidence and participation.
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or behavioural challenges under teacher guidance.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of behaviour and promoting a positive school ethos.
Requirements for the Graduate TA role:
- A degree in any discipline (education-related subjects advantageous).
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- A patient, supportive, and proactive attitude towards learning and pupil wellbeing.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
