Job Title: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £89 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: November or January
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a caring and motivated Level 2 TA to join a welcoming school community in Hull. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and helping young learners overcome challenges to reach their full potential.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who require additional assistance.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning attitudes.
- Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging confidence and independence.
- Help with record keeping, classroom organisation, and preparation of learning materials.
Requirements for the Level 2 Teaching Assistant role:
- A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude towards supporting children’s learning.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
