Pay Rate: £89 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: November or January

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Hull. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning activities and support plans.
- Help manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure consistent and effective support.
Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant role:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (school or alternative provision).
- A passion for helping pupils with additional or special educational needs (SEN/SEMH).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
