Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hull
Pay Rate: £89 – £105 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: November or January Start
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour TA to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Hull. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and is committed to making a positive difference in their educational journey.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
- Help create a positive and structured learning environment where pupils feel safe, respected, and motivated.
- Support the class teacher and pastoral team in managing behaviour effectively and implementing tailored strategies.
- Encourage pupils to develop self-regulation skills, confidence, and positive relationships with peers and staff.
- Assist in tracking pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to staff to inform future support.
Requirements for Behaviour Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs.
- A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to supporting pupils.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and trusting relationships.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and work collaboratively with school staff.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps in employment.
