Behaviour Support Assistant

Location: Greenwich
Pay: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time | Immediate Start

We are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a dynamic SEN school in Greenwich, supporting children with behavioural and emotional needs to succeed both academically and socially.

This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Support pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to manage behaviour and build confidence.

  • Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to develop effective behaviour strategies.

  • Encourage positive communication, focus, and resilience in the classroom.

  • Help create a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment.

  • Promote personal and social development through patience and consistency.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Support Assistant, mentor, or within an SEN setting is desirable.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with young people.

  • A calm, resilient, and positive approach to behaviour support.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
