Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Sheffield (S4). This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can engage students in the world of computing, coding, and digital innovation, helping them build essential skills for the future.
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages that develop pupils’ understanding of computing, coding, and IT concepts.
- Foster a creative and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to make lessons interactive and accessible for all learners.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop an exciting and relevant curriculum that prepares students for future study or careers in technology.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere.
Requirements for Computer Science Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stages.
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for computing and digital technologies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to fostering creativity, independence, and achievement in every pupil.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
