PE Teacher – Secondary School (Manchester)
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time / Fixed Term (potential for extension or permanent role)
Salary: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience and payscale)

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Teacher of PE to join a vibrant secondary school community in Manchester on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact—both inside and outside the classroom—by encouraging students to reach their full potential through sport and physical education.
You will deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, promoting teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong love of physical activity.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Motivate and inspire students to participate and achieve their personal best.

Assess, record, and report on pupil progress effectively.

Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school sports teams and competitions.

Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Physical Education at secondary level.

Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one through the agency).
