Pay Rate: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)

Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher with a passion for inspiring students to explore and understand the world around them?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Blyth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to develop their teaching career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that ignite curiosity and promote geographical thinking.
- Create dynamic learning experiences using real-world examples, maps, and case studies.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, ensuring that all students reach their potential.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs and abilities of pupils.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and contribute to departmental success.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at Key Stages.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for the discipline.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A commitment to promoting curiosity, respect, and independent learning.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
