Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS)
Location: Sheffield – S9
Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment while gaining valuable classroom experience — ideal for aspiring teachers or education professionals.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the class teacher.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
- Support students with their work and encourage positive engagement.
- Follow school policies on behaviour and safeguarding.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress or behaviour.
Requirements for Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working in schools or with young people is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards education.
- Flexibility to work across different year groups and subjects.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
