Pay Rate: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Blyth. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development while working alongside experienced teachers and staff.
As a TA, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Work one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support where needed.
- Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and participation in school life.
- Support the implementation of individual learning or behaviour plans.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working in a classroom or educational setting is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for supporting children’s learning.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible and proactive approach to meeting pupil needs.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
