Job Title: PE Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Salary Range: £140 - £190 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to join schools in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring educator who is eager to motivate students and foster a lifelong love for physical activity. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that encourage participation, teamwork, and resilience while supporting pupils in achieving their potential.
Key Responsibilities of PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons across a range of sports and physical activities.
- Encourage a healthy lifestyle and positive sporting attitude among students.
- Manage and organise sports equipment and resources effectively.
- Support extracurricular activities, such as school sports clubs and competitions.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Job Requirements for PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching PE or leading sports sessions.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A passion for physical education, fitness, and wellbeing.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)..
