Tutor
Location: Various locations across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire (in-person and online opportunities)
Contract Type: Flexible – part-time and full-time available
Start Date: Ongoing recruitment
Pay Rate: £26.15 – £35 per hour
Are you a Qualified Teacher with QTS and a passion for helping students achieve their potential through focused, personalised learning? GSL Education is expanding its network of dedicated tutors to deliver 1:1 tuition both online and in person across Primary and Secondary age ranges.
We are seeking teachers who can inspire confidence, re-engage learners, and help bridge gaps in knowledge across a range of subjects.
Subjects Needed:
- Primary Teachers (EYFS–KS2)
- Secondary English, Maths, Science, History, and Geography
- SEN Specialists or Teachers with experience supporting pupils with additional needs
The Role as a Tutor:
- Deliver high-quality, tailored tuition to meet individual learning targets and EHCP outcomes.
- Support students with varying academic levels and special educational needs.
- Develop engaging resources and adapt teaching methods to suit each learner.
- Work collaboratively with GSL Education and local schools to support student progress and wellbeing.
Tutor Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching in UK schools (Primary, Secondary, or SEN settings).
- A compassionate, adaptable, and student-centred approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
