Full – Time Maths Teacher – Winchester, Hampshire
Are you a passionate Maths teacher ready to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Maths to join a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Winchester, starting from January 2026. This is a full time role and a permanent contract on offer after a probation period has been worked. The school welcomes applications from both Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.
What You’ll Do as Teacher of Maths
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop confidence and a love for learning math.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Contribute to the wider school community through departmental collaboration and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
What You Bring as Teacher of Maths
- QTS, ECT, or relevant overseas teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in math and the ability to deliver lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Provide an up-to-date CV with two references from the last two years.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
