Behaviour Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets, E14 6QD
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term, Full Time
Hours: 8:30am – 3:45pm
Salary: £90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant for a transformative school in Tower Hamlets. You will play a crucial role in supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, managing behaviour, and promoting positive engagement in learning. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience supporting children with challenging behaviour or SEMH needs.

  • Recent experience working in a school or similar setting.

  • A resilient, calm, and positive approach.

  • Ability to de-escalate situations and implement behaviour management strategies.

  • Willingness to support with personal care if required.

  • A strong team player committed to upholding school policies.
