Job Title: Art Instructor

Pay: £100 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Part-Time (2 days a week)

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic Art Instructor to join a supportive school in Brentwood. This part-time role, working 2 days a week, offers an exciting opportunity to guide students in exploring their creativity, developing artistic skills, and expressing themselves through a variety of mediums.

Responsibilities of the Art Instructor:

  • Deliver engaging art lessons that inspire creativity and imagination.
  • Support students in developing technical skills and artistic confidence.
  • Prepare and organise materials for individual and group activities.
  • Lead small group sessions to encourage collaboration and experimentation.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree or formal qualification in Art, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Passion for working with children and fostering creativity.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in teaching or supporting art in educational or youth settings is desirable.
  • Creative, adaptable, and committed to supporting student growth.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
