Graduate Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Maldon
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain classroom experience before starting a career in teaching? This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving secondary school in Maldon as a Graduate Cover Supervisor, starting as soon as possible.
In this role, you will supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged and on task. You’ll gain valuable experience across a range of subjects, working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students in a supportive and well-structured school environment.
This position is ideal for a confident, proactive individual who enjoys working with young people and is keen to make a positive impact. Training and ongoing support will be provided, making it a perfect stepping stone for those considering a career in teaching or education.
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a degree (in any subject)

Have strong communication and classroom management skills

Be confident managing groups of students and maintaining focus

Be reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable to different subjects and classes
