Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time

About the Role
The SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with individual pupils to support their learning, personal development, and day-to-day school activities. This role is crucial in helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and achieve their potential in a supportive and structured environment.
Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support to a designated pupil with SEN

Assist with personal care needs where required

Support learning activities in the classroom or small groups

Monitor and report on progress and behaviour to teachers and SEN coordinators

Implement strategies and interventions as advised by teaching staff

Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive environment
Qualifications
-
Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable

Knowledge of SEN strategies and individual support techniques

Effective communication skills with children, staff, and parents

Patience, empathy, and understanding of individual learning needs

Willingness to undertake training and professional development
