We are seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join a supportive school in Eastbourne.

Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-Time

About the Role
As an SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs. You will help pupils access the curriculum, manage classroom behaviour, and contribute to a positive and safe learning environment. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting pupils’ development and making a meaningful difference every day.
Responsibilities

Support pupils with SEN in one-to-one or small group sessions.

Assist teachers with delivering lessons and adapting resources.

Provide personal care when required, maintaining dignity and respect.

Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management.
Qualifications

Experience working with children with SEN.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt activities and resources to individual pupil needs.

Previous experience in personal care is desirable but not essential.
