Job Title: 1:1 SEN Assistant

Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-Time

About the Role
As a 1:1 SEN Assistant, you will provide tailored support to an individual student, ensuring their needs are met throughout the school day. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to enable the student to access the curriculum, develop independence, and engage fully in learning.
Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one support for a student with SEN, ensuring learning objectives are met.

Assist with personal care and daily routines where required.

Support social, emotional, and behavioural development, promoting positive relationships and inclusion.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the pupil’s needs.

Observe, record, and feedback on student progress to inform planning and interventions.
Qualifications
-
Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs in an educational setting.

Knowledge of child development, behaviour management, and inclusive practice.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, responding flexibly to pupil needs.
