We are currently recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Brighton.

Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs. Working closely with teaching staff, you will deliver targeted support, help manage classroom behaviour, and ensure that all pupils have the opportunity to achieve measurable progress. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about making a direct impact on pupils’ learning and development.
Responsibilities

Support pupils with SEN in one-to-one or small group sessions.

Assist teachers with planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual needs.

Provide personal care where required, maintaining dignity and respect.

Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.

Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.
Qualifications

Experience working with children with SEN.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt resources and activities to suit individual needs.

Previous experience in personal care is desirable but not essential.
