Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

We are looking for a committed Inclusion & Learning Mentor to join a school in Eastbourne, supporting pupils with additional learning needs and helping them access education successfully.

About the Role
As an Inclusion & Learning Mentor, you will provide targeted support for pupils requiring additional learning and pastoral assistance. Your work will help students engage with lessons, develop confidence, and overcome barriers to learning.
Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with additional learning needs

Implement personalised learning strategies and support lesson differentiation

Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development

Assist with personal care when required

Monitor and report on pupil progress, sharing feedback with teachers and SENCO

Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to deliver individual learning plans
Qualifications & Skills

Experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs

Strong knowledge of behaviour management and inclusion strategies

Effective communication and relationship-building skills
-
Ability to adapt resources and approaches to meet individual needs

Patience, empathy, and professionalism in supporting pupils’ development
