Pay Rate: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Chichester. This role provides an excellent opportunity to help pupils achieve their full potential while supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education.

Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will support pupils in accessing learning and reaching their full potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils in accessing learning, including one-to-one or small group assistance.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans and classroom strategies.
  • Help create a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress to inform teaching and support.
  • Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom culture where all pupils feel valued.


Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:

  • Previous experience supporting pupils in a classroom or SEN setting is desirable.
  • Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed academically and personally.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
