This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons that inspire students to develop essential life skills and a love for cooking, nutrition, and design.
About The Role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Food Preparation and Nutrition across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where all students can thrive and make progress.
- Prepare students for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition (AQA) assessments, ensuring high standards of achievement.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards within the classroom and food technology facilities.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular and enrichment activities.
As the Ideal Food Technology Teacher, you will:
- Be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience within Food Technology.
- Have strong subject knowledge and practical skills in food preparation, health, and nutrition.
- The ability to motivate and engage learners of varying abilities.
- Have a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the school’s inclusive ethos.
