SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £88.94 – £95+ per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time

Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant include:
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support following individual learning plans and EHCPs.
- Assist students with communication, sensory regulation, and personal care needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills in all learners.
- Support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Promote emotional well-being, engagement, and social development.
Requirements for the ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport (essential).
- A calm, patient, and resilient nature.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine commitment to supporting the progress and welfare of children with additional needs.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
