Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Chapeltown (S35)
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant school in Chapeltown (S35). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to make a meaningful impact by helping pupils develop confidence, creativity, and strong communication skills through the study of English.
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire pupils to appreciate reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages progress and participation.
- Assess, record, and report on pupil achievement, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community to raise attainment and maintain high standards of teaching.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive, inclusive learning culture.
Requirements for English Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching English at school level.
- A creative and adaptable approach to engaging students of all abilities.
- Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and inspiring young learners.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
