Pay Rate: £86 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an empathetic and patient educator who strives to help every pupil achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the teacher in delivering engaging and personalised lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.
- Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence, wellbeing, and academic progress.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to assist with learning and behaviour plans.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging motivation, resilience, and positive behaviour.
- Assist in monitoring pupil progress and adapting support to meet individual needs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture where all pupils feel respected and valued.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting is desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young learners succeed.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
