Class Teacher  

Location: Portsmouth/Havant
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience) 
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time - PERM

Are you a dedicated and adaptable Class Teacher seeking a rewarding role in a supportive SEN school? 

Do you have experience in SEN Schools or mainstream but looking to make that change to help students with additional needs?

If so, then we at GSL Education Hampshire SEN would love to hear from you. We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Class Teacher to start at a SEN school located in Portsmouth/Havant. 

As a Class Teacher, you will be expected to: 

 
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver outstanding lessons in line with the national curriculum. 

  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes high standards of behaviour and achievement. 

  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils. 

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners within the class. 

  • Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community. 

     

In order to be considered for this Class Teacher role, the candidate must: 

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

  • Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 and Key stage 3 (experience in Year 4, 5, or 6 is highly desirable). 

  • Have the right to work in the UK. 

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. 

  • Be a proactive and reflective practitioner with excellent communication skills.
