About the Role
We are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to help deliver personalised support for pupils with additional needs. You will assist in the classroom, contribute to learning strategies, and support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and positive behaviours.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN

  • Assist teachers in implementing individual learning plans and classroom activities

  • Support behavioural management strategies and encourage positive social interactions

  • Use structured routines, visual aids, and sensory resources to enhance learning and transitions

  • Conduct observations and provide feedback to teaching staff and SENCOs

  • Support personal care where required, following school and safeguarding guidelines

Qualifications

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN in educational settings

  • Knowledge of behaviour management and differentiated learning approaches

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff

  • Awareness of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
