This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start.
Position Overview
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lambeth, South London
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time | Immediate Start
Your Key Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an active role in providing tailored support to pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
Your role will involve:

Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students achieve their goals.

Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.

Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional regulation.

Promoting positive behaviour through understanding and consistency.

Contributing to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN is an advantage.

A calm, nurturing, and empathetic approach to children’s development.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
