Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher looking for a rewarding new role from January?
GSL Education are working with a well-regarded, community-focused primary school in Loughton who are seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis initially, with the opportunity to move to full-time later in the academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a delightful Year 2 class within a supportive and forward-thinking school that values creativity, collaboration, and high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role

As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Support the academic progress and personal development of every child

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

  • Prepare pupils for a smooth transition into KS2, building their confidence and independence

  • Take an active role in contributing to the wider school community

About You

We’re looking for a teacher who is:

  • Qualified (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching in KS1 (Year 2 experience desirable)

  • Passionate about creating engaging, inspiring lessons that support all learners

  • Confident in assessment, planning, and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

  • Approachable, enthusiastic, and a strong team player

  • Committed to maintaining a positive classroom culture and high expectations
