Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Pay Rate: £150 – £230 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Sheffield. As an SEN Teacher, this is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing high-quality teaching, pastoral support, and tailored learning experiences to meet the unique needs of each pupil.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the individual learning needs of pupils with SEND.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels valued and confident.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure effective learning and development.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, implementing strategies to support academic and personal growth.
- Promote social and emotional wellbeing, helping pupils to build resilience and self-esteem.
Requirements of SEN Teacher:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, such as autism (ASC), ADHD, or SEMH.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, including explanations for any employment gaps.
