Job Title: Autism Support Worker
Location: Worthing
Pay Rate: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Autism Support Worker to join a nurturing school in the Worthing area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils with autism to develop their communication, social, and learning skills in a safe and inclusive environment.
As an Autism Support Worker, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with autism.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering structured learning activities.
- Encourage positive interactions, communication, and social development.
- Support behaviour management and help create a calm, inclusive classroom.
- Promote independence and confidence in pupils through consistent support.
Requirements for Autisom Support Worker:
- Previous experience supporting pupils with autism or additional learning needs.
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
