Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Worthing
Pay Rate: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Worthing area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils by providing tailored support and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet pupils’ individual learning goals.
- Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in all learners.
- Support behaviour management and promote a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, including explanations for any employment gaps.
