SEN Teacher

Location: Dibden Purlieu

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £31,650 to £49,084 annually

Contract: Full-time | Permanent

GSL Education are working with a specialist SEN school based in Dibden Purlieu. The school caters for students with complex needs, with SEMH and ADHD.

The school is proud of its inclusive and needs-led approach, where relationships, behaviour, and learning are at the heart of everything it does. They are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team.

SEN Teacher Role:

  • Teach a small class of students, allowing for focused, individualised support
  • Deliver a broad and engaging curriculum across multiple subjects
  • Follow a teaching approach within a specialist setting
  • Access a comprehensive induction programme to help you settle into the role
  • Receive ongoing support through established and robust support systems

Requirements for SEN Teacher Role:

  • Qualified and experienced as a School Teacher or in teaching a broad range of subjects
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status: PGCE with QTS or working towards QTS
  • Passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Able to adapt teaching methods to suit learners with diverse needs and abilities
  • Motivated to inspire, support, and make a meaningful impact in a specialist setting

To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teacher, you should: 

  • Have the right to work in the UK. 
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. 
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
