Sports Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time | Immediate Start

Do you have a passion for sport and a desire to inspire young learners through physical activity? This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist SEN school in Sutton as a Sports Teaching Assistant, where you’ll use the power of sport to support children with additional needs in building confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support pupils in PE lessons and sporting activities, encouraging active participation.

  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to develop students’ physical, social, and emotional skills.

  • Assist teachers in delivering an engaging sports curriculum and extracurricular activities.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels motivated to succeed.

  • Help organise and supervise school sports events and enrichment opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting young people (ideally within SEN or sports coaching).

  • A proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for sport and making a difference in young people’s lives.

  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
