Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield, S11
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Day-to-day / Long-term

Are you a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maths Teacher, committed to inspiring students to achieve their full potential in mathematics?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S11). This role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ mathematical understanding, and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating Maths lessons across Key Stages.
  • Encourage pupils to develop problem-solving, analytical, and numeracy skills.
  • Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve academic progress.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils’ overall development.

Requirements for Maths Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience teaching Maths at school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Maths.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, including explanations for any employment gaps.
