Position: English Teacher
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire
Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate / After Half Term
Contract Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver inspiring English lessons to students aged 11–16.
- Make literature and language accessible, exciting, and relevant.
- Use creative teaching methods to support diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What You Bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent overseas teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for literature and language, and the ability to inspire students.
