Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN4)
Salary: £150 - £230 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Start Date: Immediate

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school environment, where every child is valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for students with SEMH needs.
- Build trusting relationships to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external agencies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting approaches as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure consistent support.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills.
- A calm, patient, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
