SEN Learning Support Assistant – Portsmouth
Full Time | Permanent | Immediate Start | £13.68 per hour
GSL Education are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Portsmouth. This full-time role will focus on providing 1-to-1 support for students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with individual SEN students, offering personalised academic and emotional support.

Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs.

Encourage independence, resilience, and positive behaviour.

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.

Contribute to the school’s inclusive and supportive environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting young people with SEN, either in education or care.
