Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience)

are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join schools in the Bawtry area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver thought-provoking lessons, encourage critical thinking, and help pupils develop respect, empathy, and an appreciation for diversity.

As an RE Teacher, you will guide pupils in developing critical thinking, empathy, and respect for diverse beliefs while fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.


Responsibilities as an RE Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons across Key Stages in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage pupils to reflect, debate, and develop their understanding of religion, ethics, and philosophy.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment where all perspectives are valued.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting attainment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to design engaging resources and learning strategies.
  • Uphold high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding.


Requirements for RE Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for inspiring young people to think critically and empathetically.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
