Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: Sheffield S5
Rate: Up to £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Day-to-Day / Long-Term | Full-Time / Part-Time
Contract Type: Immediate
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs within a mainstream classroom
- Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and resources to meet individual needs
- Deliver one-on-one and small group interventions
- Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour strategies
- Help track progress and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs)
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience supporting children with SEN (preferred)
- TA qualification or equivalent (advantageous)
- Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
