Salary: £450 – £500 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

We are working with a range of primary and secondary schools, giving you the chance to support students from Early Years through to Sixth Form.

Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging and accessible lessons.

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who need additional help.

  • Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment.

  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil participation.

  • Prepare learning materials and assist with classroom activities.

  • Safeguard and supervise children in and out of the classroom.

  • Work closely with class teachers to ensure lessons run smoothly.

Requirements of the Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience supporting children or working in education is desirable.

  • A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.

  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Passionate about helping students develop confidence and achieve success.

  • Compassionate, resilient, and committed to pupil welfare.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
