SEN Learning Mentor

Location: Wandsworth
Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time | Long Term

This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with pupils who need extra guidance, helping them thrive both academically and personally.

What the Role Involves:

  • Acting as a mentor and positive role model for students.

  • Providing targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to aid emotional and behavioural development.

  • Working in partnership with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored learning support.

  • Building confidence, independence, and resilience in young learners.

  • Supporting an inclusive school environment that values every child.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with SEN pupils (Autism, SEMH, MLD, or PMLD desirable).

  • A caring, patient, and adaptable nature.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong resilience and proactive problem-solving abilities.

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
