PMLD Teacher – Inspire, Support, Transform
Location: Richmond upon Thames
Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-Time

Are you an empathetic and driven teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). GSL Education is excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a PMLD Teacher to join a dedicated SEN specialist school in Richmond upon Thames.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who believes in creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive, no matter their challenges.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons tailored to students with PMLD.

  • Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to inspire progress.

  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents to meet individual learning goals.

  • Create a safe, engaging, and encouraging classroom atmosphere.

  • Track student progress and adapt approaches to meet evolving needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

  • Experience working with pupils with PMLD or complex needs (desirable).

  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine dedication to SEN education.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
